My escort will be going up for sale within the month and im tempted to keep my Racelines as i know Spadge had the same on his 3dr.

Just curious if anyone knows what offset is needed to fit 18's onto a 3dr as ill be looking to get one in the not so distant future, and if my wheels will fit then it saves me the agro of ever trying to find Racelines again.

the standard off set for an escort is et 25 most peeps that used the rl7 went for e.t 15

standard 3dr sierra cos has an e.t 40 off set because of the body kit

i have et33 on mine 8"x17" allround but these are only 17"

i have a set of 18" Rl7 grp a type but i don't know what the off set is

My 18" RL7's i had on my 3 door were et33 and fitted without a problem. Tyre size is limited to 215/35's or you may have problems!

A 215/35/18 tyre only has a 4mm larger diameter than a 215/40/17

You could allways get a couple of mm machined of them if they dont fit.. I have some et 30's comps i would like to put on my 3door when i get one.. They will be seeing the machine shop if they dont fit.
