Default MOT CHANGES, COMING SOON.

ALL,

Anyone know what changes are coming soon regarding, MOT'S, if the car
fails, you pay again, webcam in use online and price change's around
£80. per mot etc, any accurate views on this.

Had my car tested 10 days ago and my mate who owns the garage never mentioned anything apart from the paying for retest will be coming soon due to the change to fully computerised system so you cannot simply just pop in for a retest you have to book as the tester has to log onto the system and can only do so many retests/tests a day.

come over here, £27 for a test & £13 for retest if it fails.
has its advantages. all computerised now

Im asking as was told by a mate in the trade as wrote above rumoured to be
no 14, day limit for retest, that is to go, so if the car fails you start again
and fee is rumoured to be £80, each time. ANYONE HERE A MOT EXAMINER
to put us right, if its true, what a rip off, what about new cars no mot until
3,years old, that does'nt make safe sence,
