Ultimate Boot Builds...incl one at £ 200 K !!!!!These cars were at the London Hi-Fi Show for the first time.....it is usually a show for home Hi-Fi only. Some fine examples of the very best (and most expensive) boot builds in the UK!!
Look out for the Escort Cossie of PassionForder Tim Burnham........TOP bloke, nice to chat with you Tim
Cadilac Escalade, big chevy motor with supercharger......basic vehicle is £ 47 K......plus 16 K for the 26" wheels/tyres AND £ 200 K ICE install

Indoor display.......notice Tims Es Cos in the background, more peeps were looking at his car/ICE than the F 550/Porsche etc

Other cars:

That C2 belongs to Phil Leach. He is the MD of SQ Plus (Manchester), had a long chat with him. He told me that the C2 took 6 solid months to complete with NO customer jobs to interupt the progress. It is a fully working/driveable car, and is road registered. The central driving position was a nightmare but worth the stress, features like a CENTRE CHANNEL loudspeaker built INTO the steering wheel
.....the closer you look at this car the more detail/expence you see.....I'ts mind bogleing the work that has gone into this car.
SQ Plus also did the conversion on the big Chevy (top pics), he could not tell me the name of the customer - but said it was a well known sportsman who lives in the north............Lots of VERY expensive Dynaudio tweeters and mid/bass drivers fitted. Customer wanted the very best available - money no object

after spending all that money on the rest of the car some bigger discs wouldnt be out the question

true what chip says like, you cant help but appreciate the workmanship in those motors, even if youre not into that kinda thing

Totally appreciate the work that goes into them, but NOWAY you can justify the price and overkill on those builds or any silly ICE install. Sorry, but a £500 system is more than anyone needs unless it's down to burger king in a 1.2 Corsa to make up for having a shit car
people call it chav, but u cant help but appreciate a GOOD SQ car system, with ur favourite tune playing with perfect amounts of bass, midrange and treble.
getting mine together at the moment for the S2, nothing special, but will sound good.

However, I have sat in and listened to an SQ car install (Wentworth Car Radios BMW - there was a time when they were well known on the scene) which had 8 grand's worth of kit + approx. the same in labour, and let me tell you, the experience was out of this world (Dynaudio and soundstream).
Try and do a blind test between run of the mill speakers and quality speakers, you'll be surprised at how much better they are.
Then again, if you can't hear the difference, there's no point splashing out the extra money
It's an individual thing.
