my car is usual stg.3, greens,-31 etc and the boost is set to 21psi,i have a 4x4 itercooler but havnt got round to fitting it,is it safe to be running the 2wd intercooler??

I would never do that ppl might say they have done or they do , but i would think 18 psi MAX on standard coler IMO

im running 22psi on 500 cooler

somehow i think sqweezing 21 psi through one of those would start to create
problems. the 2wd cooler would be bit of a bottle neck at that poundage.

guys how is a cossies boost adjusted? mines 15psi, but how wud i adjust it? thru a bleed valve or thru the ecu?

Prob be best to do it through the actuator , clockwise to turn up i.e shortining the actuator rod

it's not really a case of if it's safe to run x bar boost through a certain intercooler as if the intercooler is not efficient enough at bringing your ACT down, the ignition should be retarded to take account of it. that will mean making less power and being less driveable, rather than making it dangerous to run (up to a point where the ACT is so high that the timing is not retarded enough to prevent detonation)
