Okay, jsut started using XP
Well, I mean I just started using on my own machine instead of Win 2000......
Anyway, anyone know where the FAVOURITES folder is for IE? I wanna paste all my links in there but can't find the folder
Secondly, anyone tell me why me keyboard is screwed? Instead of the pound sign (from the 3 button) I get this # and instead of the " sign (from the 2 button) I get this @
I had a look around inside Control Panel and it seems to all be set to UK in everything, sill can't get me fooking keyboard sorted

Champion!

Thanks chap!
Last Q :
This is a new PC (well, new to me, ex office terminal I bought for Ł200) : 2.8GHz P4, 1.5GB RAM, 60GB HDD (+ my 80GB one aswell) and is only a couple of years old, but when I installed a fresh XP install, it didn't have any audio or graphics drivers. I fixed the audio by fitting the 5.1 digital sound card I was gonna fit anyway which had it's own drivers. Also there was n driver for the intergrated LAN port, but that was not a problem since I fitted a spare LAN PCI card I had aswell. But the graphics still need sorting. I have a couple of screen resolution options (800x600, 1024x768, and a third I cna't remember) and whilst that is okay, the problem is when scrolling thru web pages it isn't nearly as smooth as it was before. It's jerky and slow to refresh, specially when using the wheel bit of the mouse.
Any idea's where to get a driver? I tried Dells site but couldn't find a display or graphics driver, and I don't know what chipset it is

Scratch all that - chap sent me through a Dell Optiplex Resource + Driver disc
So now I installed the LAN port driver (which works) and the Intel Graphics Driver (which has made my screen scroll speed faster and smoother, tho it is almost like the text is a little blurred when still, like then typing this. Not blured as such, almost like when you have tired eyes and it's a little out of focus)
Didn't bother installing the on board sound driver since I have fitted my digital sound card - I wasn't sure if they would conflict? Sure someone told me when you fit a PCi soundcard to a machine with on-board sound that you have to turn the on-board sound off in the BIOS anyway?

So far it hasn't tried to install a driver for the on board sound and the other card is working fine so it seems okay. I'm d'loading that cleartype thingy now so see how it does

AFPMSL
I installed and ran Cleartype, but after trying it in different modes a couple of times it didn't make a huge ammount of difference
So I pressed the button on my monitor, went to AUTO ADJUST and now it is crystal sharp with no blurs
FFS, I shouldn't be allowed near PC's
