ive just gone frm running 803's 2 putting light blues n a chip 2 run them in....but on first fire up and since then after putting them in when the cars cold its firing up then cutting out...once its warmed up a bit its revving between 500 n 1500 rpm.......once the cars 2 its normal running temp its running fine.....

now when the idle control valves disconnected its not surging like it does when the cars cold n its conected but the revs r that low when its diconected u couldnt run the car.
b4 putting the chip n light blues in it used 2 start up like it had a sensor off....it was over fueling but would sort itsself out....

any idea's what the problem is???? i cant c how putting a chip n differenet injectors in would cause the idle contro valve 2 pak up???

Jakki, the chip controls the ISCV along with other paramiters, as you have changed it that is your first port of call, who's chip is it? Is it secondhand, there is a lot more to a chip change than just "changing the chip"
get it to a specialist quick so it can be checked over properly

its a a1 rally sport chip 2 run light blues -31 n all the rest.............i bought it off a pal that didnt have it 2 mins but then went 2 get his car live mapped so it was no good 2 him....think it might just need settin up then n it will sort it or will it need a new un?
