Default How F**kin pleased am I?

Yesterday, me and the missus spent most of the day/evening replacing the Bathroom Ceiling. We had changed our minds several times regarding placement of the Recessed lights and the ceiling was starting to look a bit like a Sieve.

Anyway, got the new Ceiling up and was fairly pleased with it, so we got our new IP65 Rated Halogen Lights out. The instructions said to drill the holes to 70mm, so thats what we did. 6 of them.

Came to fitting the lights and they go straight through the hole. It would appear that there is a mistake in the Instructions.

We checked the website for the manufacturer and the instructions on there say to drill to 64mm!!

Problem is, the lights are EXACTLY where they need to be and really can't be moved. How fooking pleased are we?

A mistake in the instructions??? That's just fookin rediculous!! Write a letter of complaint to the manufacturer, they should come round and sort out the mess themselves!!!

It just breaks your heart, you try your best to stay positive and focussed. Doing a place up from Derelict is hard enough, then shit like this really knocks you down.

PMSL @ DIY God.

We have found some other lights that need a 72.5mm hole, which we can work with. Its just the extra cost and the agro, which hopefully the supplier will help with as we bought from a Retailer, as opposed to a Trade Supplier.

For now, we have a Bathroom with NO lights!! At least its romantic!!

Yeah, its a bit of a nightmare. Beccy said she found it was best to go out in the garden and use the hose.
