To try and do somthign to bring the fuel prices lower! Ok its only a drive slow but come on how come the rest of the country isnt doing anything?

i agree rhys - everyone complains at the high price but no one does anything about it.

 

Complaining about the tax on anything makes no difference...

 

Perhaps its due to the Welsh being even tighter than the Scottish?
The tax all goes back to benefits for the country so stop ya moaning and get yer hand in yer pocket. Either that or work harder/get a better job etc.

 

Nah.. not entirley true mate, I know for a fact there was a 10 mile exclusion zone at Immingham, they had cops on all the roads leading there turning all lorries away unless they had proof they where delivering in the area, a mate of mine got turned away, he went back later in his car, and they had troops there with Bulldozers just incase anyone made it.

Funny how that has been 'left' out of the news!!

I thought a few of the refinery's were haveing protestors stood outside but not doing alot though.
They are alright telling the farmers with their tractors to do 40 on the inside lane they can only do 25

 

JCB Fastracks... as tractors aint allowed on the motorways anyway

And as I said they cant stand outside a refinery if they cant get too em in the first place.

 

Alot didnt turn up, they ran out of petrol

But.......some stupid woman on the news backed the goverment saying "stand your ground and dont give in to anything" stupid woman

 

Everytime you use the NHS or lose your job or get benefits for anything its coming from the taxes so stop fookin moanin about it!

Fuel tax is un necissarly high! Trouble is people need to get around as public transport is bad! Well its supurb compared to the US but still its bad to rest of Europe! So people have to use their cars! Why should we be penilsed everytime we want to get about it! People with our attitudie would be happy with a communist style govt? Say they take most of your wage and give u everything?


Oh and Dingy it did work as the Gov has stoped the fuel Excilator since

 

if everyone stopped buying fuel everyone would be fooked.

the money the government get from us drivers is fooking awesome!

its way too much tax were paying on fuel,full stop!

it seems to have made all the sheep (not the welsh ones!) but the car owning ones,panic and fill up their tanks,even though they are going nowere.then after all that,the supermarkets decide to knock off a few pence, this will piss off the big garages for a while,until the prices creep up again.how much more profit can the oil companys want? the truck drivers i know were all stocking up on fuel last week ,someone has to pay the bills,and this is what tony blair wants,all the workers in his pocket.well done to the few who put themselves out,but i don't know how much they really acheived,i think voting in this shower again was the biggest mistake,but who else was there to vote for? wake up tories or anyone else

 

Here's a fresh perspective - the prices go up forcing everyone to use public transport (for a while) public transport improves markedly due to its increased use and traffic drops down. Due to market forces fuel prices now drop leaving those of us with the patience with less crowded roads and cheep fuel.

I recommend you all worship me and declare me Emperor!

The Gov has pumped shit loads more into public transport over the last 8 years and tbh its hasnt got much better! lol So that is that rule out of the window

I agree public transport should be made awsome then migt get people out of there cars, but the gov just seems to be wasting soooooooo much money on it and it doesnt seem to be improving at the rate it should with the extra billions going into it.

 

the prices on that has gone up aswell to compensate for the fuel rises.

Same as the planes,they put the prices up by Ł6 per person to pay for the fuel prices.

RHYS - the brits aint got a backbone mate! Everyones likes to complain from their armchairs at home - for eveyone that comes up with a sugestion you probably have 100 odd people cussing them for it

 

AJ - No clue what you're taking about there mate. Brits are notorious for NOT complaining except behind there backs. The problem arises when people complain because they dont know what good for them - thats where government comes in. If I were in charge of the country I'm sure I'd be mighty unpopular with alot of folks because I'd make them do what was right even if they couldnt see it.
Thats why I always thought Tony Blair wasnt so bad - because last time the moaning taffy's blockaded the refineries he said its simple I can lower the tax on fuel but the schools and hospitals will suffer. Strike ended. Some people are jsut dumb. If you want to lower fuel prices then grass up your scanky mates who claim dole or benefits when they shouldnt. Here endeth by beer fueled rant!
