Default I am now goin EVO.....

.....EVOLUTION chip tommorrow

A 30psi spike and a held 25psi apparently...at the mo its a stage 3 with unknown chip and spikes 24psi and holds 16psi instead of winding the boost up on an unkown chip i thought who is the best temporary chip to get before i go large Hopefully she will be more economical faster whilst i get the thing upgraded elsewhere to prepare for my old engine to go in with a **** turbo with a ***** plenum etc etc oh and 4 ****** injectors..i am wanting ***bhp...so fingers crossed.

BUT as said until then i gonna enjoy a proper stage 3

....i just remembered Stu vowed NEVER to supply me a chip once How times change...in this case for the better as i consider Stu a proper mate now

you wont be disapointed mate, had exactly the same setup only last month, goes like a proper cossie now, i suspect stu woudn't supply anyone that particular chip unless he has set the car up himself to protect himself from people saying the engine pent pop when i fitted it

he'll have all the stuff plugged in with pipes and wires and things everywhere

hopefully you;ll do the drivability route then back on teh motorway feeling what it should run like on full boost

it will,

i think what he is on about is having it live mapped as opposed to having a chip that has been live mapped on a std, good condition engine and then copying these parameters onto other chips then checking that they operate correctly in the other cars they are fitted, eg mine, phils etc

can't decide whether to go for one of stu's chips with closed loop lambda for the short term, or just wait and get him to live map it on my S8. the way petrol prices are, the chip would probably pay for itself in a few weeks.
