they are great to drive
just make sure that the bushes have been replaced as this can really comprimise the handling.....just had all mine done last month with uprated items and it really shows
the frp will outrun most things on the corners tho not on the straights

Well a Racing Puma if ya want ya car to stand out in the crowd the racing puma is a deffo must (as they are becoming rare) with only 500 made and 497 were released for road use and registered in this country appears to be only 363 left.

I would say the puma lacks powers on the straights (but is not to be under estimated) but it has the ability to be above the rest on it superb handling.

If you do alot of motorway driving you may want to reconsider as this baby love A and B road. I find with the FRP as the engine was designed by Yamaha and race tuned by Tickford that she revs fairly high incomparison with most cars.

Ie travelling @ 80mph she is reving over nearly 5000 (clock goes to 7000), i mean the FRP would have benifited from 6speed box but they were not designed to be a road car (a track or rally car)

But yes they're are some dogs out there so be warned

I've got one, and they are fantastic! I had to look at a fair few though before I found one in good condition. Best thing to do is to buy one off an enthusiast who has looked after it, and replaced parts with top spec/original stuff....good luck finding a good one!
