Not an easy job as apart from a few Motorbility cars that were converted non of the Mk4's came with PAS. However, I beleieve Jano from Oddkid Creations has donea conversion so it may be worth dropping him a PM as he posts on here.

There a few people that do it now - using electric motors on modded columns.

It's the rack itself which is a bit problematic.

As Jesse t said above the rack needs new mounts made on the bulkhead + a few other mods. Can be done but on a mk3/4 there is no real point IMO

I can do it tho

NO!

The best thing to reduce that is by fitting 3 piece drive shafts

A little but most of it is just logic. Many car companys have been using three piece shafts for years!!!!!

EVEN THE OLD MK2 fiesta has three piece shafts but dont tell anyone i told you that cos they wont belive you Before you start asking these shafts are no good for anything else as they are like toffecrisp chocolate bars

Have fun maytee

Well just the shafts work out around £235 each so x3 and then the cost of the Gearbox, mounts, linkage etc.... Altogether works out around £1000 for an MTX75 with the drives sahfts and components to run.
