Pretty good for an oil burnner mate, a friend at work has one and has been over the moon with it.

Very good performance and engine reliability and 45 plus to the gallon cant be bad.

He is having it chipped to 190 bhp with some of the revo software next week so should be interesting.

I was supprised how the engine went for a diesel mate, you can almost rev it like a petrol engine but it has ten times more low down power.

i drove the 130 bhp version (i think it was)
6 speed box, very smooth drive etc, thought it was brilliant,
pulled really well too but as above you can get them to somet like 180 bhp,
will be looking at getting one in a year or so to replace my current diesel
run about

Superb cars, especially in 130/150bhp format with a six speed gearbox. They spool up quickly and are really comfortable and handle well. The spec is good too and I like the blue dash lights - very

I wouldn't even look twice at the 306 compared to the Golf, even though there is nothing wrong with the 306.

Get one

I have the 150 bhp version, great car, very quick, handles well and blows away boy racer's easily, they cant understand how a diesel beats then .Mine is a 3 door and looks very sporty too.I have the 6 speed box, traction control, abs, disc's all round (very good in fact,no fade) plus full leather interior .Get over 55 mpg on motorway driving, and it pulls my trackcar on its trailor no bother.

Only downside is the sqeeks and rattles of the interior to be very honest .But I would say go test drive one and see what you think.Regards Micky
