what colors did the s2 come out of the factory in im sure its only red white black and the silvery grey??

but ive seen a completely stock version in yellow with black rst badges ect and it really confused me is this factory paint or not?

 

nope never yellow from the factory....only the colours you said red, white, black and mercury grey.

Saw it on e-bay! 1 owner, 73,500 miles! But why yellow?????

 

could have a story behind it,

could of put the rear rs turbo sticker on straight aswell,also would of have been a 90 spec sticker

 

i love it in yellow thats why i asked i dident know if it was a genuine ford color thats all

would ford have made a special 1 off if some 1 asked it to be done?

 

white and red were standard colours! black and grey were options! i think they was about Ł250 extra!

This car is not far from me, one ladie owner from new, she got it painted just cus she wanted it in yellow and ford wouldnt do it.

 

yellow looks disgusting their are also 2 shades of red rosso and radiant

 

i still want it lol! may have to build myself 1 later on in life when ive got a bit older and lower insurance

Na the earlier ones were Rosso Red (I think) I had a 1989 F plate Rosso red s2 last year. Ive also saw a few turbos in Nimbus Grey i think. Im sure its a rare colour. In fact there was one for sale on here over a year ago.

 

definitely 2 shades of red earlier ones were rosso not sure exactly wot year was wot but radiant is the best , nimbus grey and mercury grey are exactly the same tho,

 

90 spec was radiant red.
