someone, i think it was dave henshall said you could get a new UJ from woodford ?????

how much are they ? and how easy to replace it ?

even if that isnt my dodgy noise i may just replace it anyway after the horror stories ive heard

it wasnt me, but yes simon at woodford does stock them about 25 quid i think, and they come with a grease nipple pre installed IIRC so you can keep it lubed up in the future

not too hard, cant remember though if the needle rollers are held in with circlips though of pressed in, you need to unbolt the front prop, but i havent done one myself to be sure....

indeed, mark up though in what position it was when u take it of either centre punch the flanges at each end on both the shaft anf the flanges to the/from the boxes

you will need something to drop the transfer box fluid into, it requires half a litre if you put fresh in

Make sure you keep this little fucker greased as you remember my horror story in my escort cosworth? 150mph booooom came off, blew everything, diff, gearbox clutch etc....KEEP IT GREASED!!!

I had to drop the exhaust and anti roll bar to get the front prop out.
U.J I got from local motor factors.

Cost me £26.88 incl VAT

It will be the + bit which joins the shaft tto the flange
