i was coming down the a12 today and this poor bloke was pushing his car as i think it run out of petrol so i stay back in my car with my hazard lights on so the poor bloke dont get knock down and i thought someone would of get out and helped him but they didnt ,pricks just overtook me so i stop the rs and got out and help him

 

dont get much help on the roads much anymore, one problem is you never know who u are helping nowadays, could be dodgy

i will always help if i can as was with a m8 who broke down and if a couple did not stop to heklp we cwould have been fucked as he split a water hose and we had no water andf this copuple had a 5 litre container so from know on we both said any time we see anyone in need we will stop and help

 

It works like this:

You get out to help, you suggest the struggling driver gets in the car to steer.
You push 100 yds down the road, next thing it starts up and clears off.
While your scratching your head wondering what happened, YOUR CAR comes flying past with 2 thieving scumbags in, who were hiding when you stopped.

IF YOU STOP TO HELP, LOCK AND ALARM YOUR CAR..

You follow matey on A12 with hazards flashing, other idiots don't see in time and bosh you and your car are brown bread because of some spiv who forgot to put petrol in his car.

Best thing to do is drive on by and phone the old bill.

two blokes i used to work with got killed pushing a women in her broken down car,about five yrs ago.was on the north circular between charlie browns roundabout and waterworks roundabout.any one who knows that area will know how fast the traffic is there.a 7.5 ton lorry smashed into them,killed the poor women as well.

 

never get out on a motorway to help without a high vis vest on :S i work for a recovery company and its scary shit somtimes lorrys flying past u at 60mph about 2 foot away

 

some idiot drivers do not notice these



so i don't hold out much hope for your hazard lights.

It ain't nice sweeping up dead bodies and dealing with the aftermath, so if it happens again the best deed you can do is phone the old bill and leave it to them.
