What should you use to flush/clean out an intercooler?

Default What should you use to flush/clean out an intercooler?

Remeber mine having a bit of oily residue before putting it all back in the engine bay last year.

What would be best to clean it with, and will the standard one come out without having to remove the radiator?

i'd say petrol or thinners would be good

Thats what I'd have thought anyways Ben.

Can the intercooler be removed without removing the rad though?
