Nope - hoping to get time off for the revival RAC again later in the year.
No sleep 'till Kielder and 3 days of kipping in the car
We do none of the 9-5 stuff in this country anymore. If were watching a WRC round it will be abroad where even with transport and hotels it still works out 1/2 the cost

ive not been to the rally gb for many years now - simply refuse to have my pants pulled down by this government any more than i already get. it is almost as expensive as an entry to a single venue event - what watch when you can partake !!
markk, would love too have a go at a rally myself,, but money and the fact that im a bit of a shite driver dont help
done a couple of rally days which was great fun

Gareth, dyslexia is nothing my recent co-driver who's been standing in for Adam Ash is actually registered blind
He can see a bit (just enough to make out the maps) but deffo cant see out of the windows. I have been teaching him as its his ultimate ambition to compete in the navigators seat (as he will never be able to hold a licence to drive). He feels the movements of the car through the seat and is soooo confident its not a problem.
On our last event we came away with another class trophy
Have been on training days with some drivers who actually need the words "to me" and "to you" calling as they themselves get confused due to nerves etc.

i might do one day (fancy the Friday). its almost as much fun going between the stages, map reading, finding short cuts, spotting the nearest scooby and following hopeing he knows where he's going, etc. all good fun.
the prices take the mick though, thats why i'll only do 1 day rather than the lot.
i used to go to Parc De Ferme (sp?) and get autographs at about 5am in the morning.

what is the cost of spectating these days then??? I've lost touch completely - we used to get 3 days off work for the Lombard RAC without fail every year, and do 2000 miles+ in half a week
Last time I went was still GpB days
and we NEVER paid, and generally stuck to the non-advertised stages... Sadly those days are long gone..

I'm going...I've been going for quite a few years now
I remember my first year a scooby was coming down a steepish forest road where we were stood at the bottom.....I almost turned and ran because I though there was no way he would get round at that speed!!
£100 is expensive but you have to admit it is ALOT more accesable to more people which is what they are aiming for I think
