Default Now decided on my new tuning DIY project

Now that the Saff is broken up mostly now due to poor bodywork and just lost interest in putting anymore money into what is just a 4dr 80's taxi....LOL...and buying a 3dr that was more rotted and bailing out of the Escos Rally car due to HPi....its been decided that FORD is not wanting me..ROFL Had the Saff for the longest i ever kept a car and vowed i would keep it till its death...a bit sooner than expected

After much looking around its been decieded that the way forward is a SUBARU around a 2001 model so lastest kinda look, they grown on me in the Sonic Blue Obviously tunable...and the first mod is autronic which is plug and play!...Apparently i gotta go careful over 300bhp though due to a cadburys quality So obviously gonna cost a bit to make really fast...but atleast transmission is a good point.

Any views on these Scoobys???I assume they handle well straight out the box....

PLEASE keep the scoobys are shit comments to the playground Lets be mature for once ROFL

Scooby pistons can happily take FAR more than 300bhp if on the right management correctly mapped, so im sure Mr Shead will get 350 out fo them for you.

Standard transmission isnt particuarly strong, so not sure what gave you the idea it was, you would be better off with an Evo if you are after that.

Handle great, feel nicely put together, far better car than a cossie really but have a nasty chav image (not that i would let that bother me)

Nothing wrong with Scoobys at all. Sonic blue is a cool colour as well... but I think the EVOs are better technically, probably more tunable and harder looking though.

I feel pity for the Scoobyneters, they wont know what hit them until its too late.

On a serious note though, wise choice going for a more modern car. Would do the same if I had a steady job/salary.
