Default Series 1 Turbo Mis fire

i have a series 1 rst it run fine until the piston rings went, it was then stood for 1 year then fitted with a running 1.8 zvh engine, but the engine wont run rite since fitted in the car, has a mis fire but seems to be caused by over fueling, as i have checked the cam timing, new magnecor leads, new plugs, another dizzy, replaced metering unit,,,, when i fitted new plugs i run fine for about 5 secs then the plugs coked up went black and started to mis fire again please help, could it be a senor on the inlet manifold if so which 1, also when you turn it of it sounds like theres loads of air being sucked into the filter,..
Anybody got any idea Cheers[/img]
