Default How much are these worth?? Anti-Lag on 2WD Cos

How much would people expect to pay for these secondhand parts (in good condition)?

P8 ECU with ALS (including modded elbow / idle valve) - £?????
T35 Turbo with Maram Shaft - £?????
Air Injectors - £??????

Are there any mods required to run P8 ECU on 2WD Sapphire (ie. TPS)?

How does the T35 stand up to ALS (even with Maram Shaft)?

air injectors are no longer available.. so depends on how bad someone wants them i guess..

Yes there is 1 mod required to run the P8 on a 2wd...
Take the 2wd throttlepositioningsensor off the car and replace it with a 4x4 item .. or if you dont have those available, switch the 2 outside wires (3 wireplug) which connect to the throttleposiotingsensor..
(they work the other way around 0 to 5 v and 5v to 0 ... that all you need to do!

he asked to fit a P8 on a 2WD so the 2wd TPS would already be on it would'nt it ???

Sorry.. but you are wrong..
he doesnt need a 4x4 tps... only to swap the wires is sufficient..

I myself drive a L6(2wd) on an escort cosworth .. and all it takes is a wireswap!
both tps's do exactly the same...

i agree with gareth T. for l1and l6 ecu you need a pf01 2wd tps, for l8 you need a 4x4 pf09 tps and if fitting those to a 2wd wiring loom you need to swap the outer 2 wires around.

2wd and 4x4 tps do not work the same at all. they work the opposite way around for a start, so that one has maximum resistance at closed throttle and the other has minimum

Can you not fit either with the wires the correct way round then get the throttle stops re set by a tuner?

no-one in their right mind would pay more than a fiver for a secondhand lambda sensor.

you didn't make that clear...

an l8 or p8 ecu (or maybe others if Stu has had his hands on it) and a lambda sensor and a few wires

Sorry mate.

What I really meant is if I install a P8 ECU will i NEED some form of lambda control if using this ECU in a 2WD application

No they dont, get your self a multimeter and try it for yourself.
We did... ?? there is no problem whatsoever...
We also run a 4x4 sierra with an L6 and its runs better then it ever did.. (also only wireswap ?) and it is on lambda readout and it shows no problems at all !

So please explain your finding, ofcourse I am willing to listen to reasoning why you think its not ok to do this ??
Al we found out is that it runs 0volt closed throttle to 5v open ..
and the other is exactly the other way around >> 5v to 0v..
yes resistance is different on closed throttle but it doesnt seem to have any problems with it and as I said.. runs very smoothly..
So is there something I overlooked ?

i think you should test the output voltage against throttle angle for both tps, and you will see a different

Im a bit busy at the moment but if you check the PF01 output at idle you will find its actually completely open circuit which is what activates the idle and overun strategy in the management prom.

The strategy is different in L8 and P8 as they run a closed circuit resistance at idle and actually see open circuit, quite understandably, as a sensor failure.

Hope this helps.
