Default AE PISTONS PART NUMBERS

Hi all,

Just bought a block for an RS and need to know if the pistons are oversized or not as there only seems to be a part number on them. I've tried them in a spare block I have which has been bored out by 0.5mm and they seem to be ok but need to make sure before I start putting things back together.

Hope someone can help.

Cheers
Dave

Just had my new engine built up which had brand new ae pistons in, and they actually had +0.5 etched into the tops. Yours should have this also i'd imagine???

Looks like the pistons have been skimmed then. I've had them measured and it turns out they are 0.5mm oversize which is great for me due to having a spare reconned block. RS Van time me thinks.

Cheers
