Default FAO Kent, Surrey, Essex peeps - opinion wanted!!!

Power engineering do all my work currently, but are a bit of a distance.

Looking for tuner recommendations, based in East Surry, South West Essex, or Kent that have a Rolling Road, builds engines, and is good with Bufty cars (lot of jobs I could do myself but want a really tidy job so prepared to pay a pro!!!)

Field Motorsport for engine building and mapping (01245 320730- South Woodham Ferrers), and if you do want a RR then Paul Hills in Witham. (Fields have an engine dyno but use Pauls rollers sometimes...

Agree with cfoster, Fields are the dogs dangles. They done my friends S1 which is running 320brake from a 1600, hopefully get mine sorted out there as well. Tommys a top bloke to go with it & is willing to talk about where you want to go with the car etc. EA is where I get mine rolling roaded now as well

Stick with Powers mate to be honest. I personally don't rate their engine work, but I will always have Chris @ PE tune my car all the time where ever he works. Unless you fancy a drive to Norfolk

I had my car mapped at Engine Advantages. Pauls pretty good.

There are loads of places locally, Race Power Motorsport (northfleet), HT Racing (Brands hatch)

Never been to either but I've heard some good and some bad. Personally in my experiance I would go to Karl Norris (www.norrismotorsport.co.uk). He's a bit further away but IMO it's worth the drive as closest doesn't always mean best.

Cheers guys - I'm going to stick with PE for the big stuff I think, but I was looking more at the more minor things - i.e. supply and TIDY fit of a breather kit, and RS500 intercooler, fitting and set up of vernier pulleys etc.

peteh, I'm still thinking of the stage 3..... but doing it bit by bit with the cooler, breather and stuff to stop it going bang first, as and when I can get them off e-bay etc....

Don't want to take it to PE each time, so looking for local, trustworthy and Cossie proficient people locally that I can pop it in for the bits as and when....

Also got to get that starter motor rattle done!!! LOL.

I've got a spare kidney that can go before the cossie'll go

Benn 304R, Thanks - heard of Julian Godfrey - didn't realise he was local. Might give him a try then.
