Yea, Pro Alloy or GRS IMO.

Don't know what the current wait time for Graham's stuff is....

I've got a Radtec front mount on mine and to honest it is top. It was cheaper than all the others fits fine with only minor mods needed and the act's hardly ever go above 28 cannot understand why more people don't use them. Only problem I have is it could do with another fan to keep water temps down but there is loads of room for another just hav'nt got round to fittin one yet.
And it was in stock of the shelf no wait.

i happen to be using a grs , but i wouldnt care what was on there , they all more or less do the same thing , the one gripe i do have however is on the grs they havent used one piece of stainless on the left side so you get a weld right in the middle. not very pro looking

between pro alloy or grs
firstly think about what you want from your cooler first,do you want a cooler thats goin to lower act's slightly and give good water temps or lookin to run high boost as the pro alloy doesn't give good act's at high boost

heating probs shouldn't come into it when buyin a cooler, you buy it to lower charge temps not water temps and the pro alloy doesn't give good act's when running big boost, hence my previous post
the grs gives excellent act's at big boost albeit at the sake of slightly raised water temps

I moved over to Pro Alloy from GRS

My GRS had 2x10 Kenlowe fans and worked a treat, ACT's were excellent

When I moved over to Pro Alloy the ACT's actually were alot higher, BUT the car feels so much faster

It could be me I don't know, but....boost holds better and am happy overall

I would choose the Pace front mount again without the slightest of hesitations. It's simply the bollocks.

ACT = Air Charge Temp

its the temp of the air being forced into the engine, generally speaking the lower the better.

if moneys a issue why not go for a grs twin pass as these are alot better than a pace they are £265 and because you are a passion ford member he will give you a discount i think its 10%

but that £265 FOR THE GRS is just for the intercooler, the price rises when you add the cost of one fan,let alone 2!!!! it's still the daddy though

Don't bother with the small PACE intercooler it's only marginally better than the stock item.

you can get a single fan off ebay for about £40 to fit the grs

forget the pace there only good for a couple of psi more than the standard intercooler and thats pushing it

i remember someone saying they took the standard intercooler off and replaced it
with a pipe and the acts was not much higher with the pipe

would you say the big pace is better than the pro-alloy then? (in terms of better act's at high boosts?), is it worth the extra money? the pace seems to be the most expensive on the market so you'd expect it to be pretty good

the radtec looks good too for the money, but i've heard there is not enough room to fit them without having to move parts of the engine back, sounds like a bit too much hassle to me

I went for the Radtec because it was one of the easyest to fit deffo dont need to move any engine parts back just a small bit of drilling and its on

the hardest part of fitting the radtec jobbie was wireing the fans in, so in simple terms it just aint hard!! went straight on no problems and my ACT's are way way low now
