fook me ive had two now, messenger pop up with millions of bong bong bong etc, then i have to sit there and delete over 100 pop ups one by one

ive ran adaware fookin twice now and still doin it

 

to turn off messenger service:

start>run, type "services.msc"
right click messenger, select properties
check startup type, to prevent popups it should be "disabled" then once youve selected disabled click on the button that says "stop" then click apply then ok..

its set to automatic as standard and CAN be the cause of loads of popups, (they look like grey windows style messages)

 

cheers bud is that a permanent thing or do i have o do it every time i boot up?

 

try spybot, its better than adaware
