FWD TOTB Organisation
just read the complete thread what a crock of shit the words piss up and brewry come to mind, there appears to be lots of but he said he was going to organise it and then this happened, as an organiser you take responsibility to organise not blame

Mike organising a day for qualifying was out of Nige's hands......I believe he addresses that quite clearly in the thread.
With it apparent that there was going to be no qualifying, and the closing date for applications drawing closer, it was decided to select those competing based on past performance and common sense.
As co-ordinator Nige compiled specs of potential entrants cars, there proven times and there current state of play. Liased with entrants and both Redline and 200+.
The information that Nige had collated on selecting the team was both well organised and well collated.
I believe that the Team that was selected was the best from the most upto date information available.
It is unfortunate that the team is now 3 cars down, and have lost Nige as co-ordinator. IMO Nige was doing a good job of an akward situation until others decided to take it upon themselves to interfere.
Sure people expect questions to be answered, but there are ways of asking questions in ways that are non offensive non abusive and dont call into question one's integrity.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for a decent reply mate, whilst i can appericiate that it is not an easy job, i do feel that as the organiser you should have all of your bases covered so that you can get things sorted, it is a lot of responsibility to under take this but one that i feel should be done hole heartedly. There have been lots of posts enquiring about qaulifiying and they appeared to be met blankly........
As you know i am having alot of work done on my car and was truly hoping to have it ready for next years event
but if this years organisation is anything to go by then it is not something i will rush for.
Anyway thats enough of that was just pissed of when i read it so had to
