jaimesdna - How on earth did you EXACTLY roll your front arches then? I need to roll mine aswell, front and rear, but no 1 wants to touch the fronts as apparently the wing is too soft to take it.

But iv just gone over a bump and its bought the lip of the front arch outwards and nearly shredded the tyre aswell. But with me, sending the car back upwards is not an option, the fronts must therefore be lowered. But i want to know exactly what procedure you used and wether it caused any damage to the wing itself or the paint etc etc???

Cheers mate.

it was a bit of trial & error really. i started off bending the arches with a pair of mole grips as much as i could, then sat inside the arch with 1 hand firmly on the arch & just kept workin round the arch tappin it with a hammer till the arch comes back onto the wing. then primed it & seam sealed it to the wing to stop dirt & crap gettin in. its much easer if you scrape the paint b4 you start (the paint will flake off where you bend it as paint aint as bendy as metal). some people have told me that that put loads of cuts into theirs first with a grinder so the metal bends easer. its only a job you should try yourself if your really confident coz its reall easy to balls up, then youll need a new wing & paint (& worst of all having to explain 2 a profesional what you did to it ) mine have been done for a while now with no problems at all (& im running 8j rims) hope this helps p.s. i didnt need to roll my rear arches coz with all that negative camber the wheels clear them.

My m8 has just fitted a set of 7x18 inch RS GT's with 215/35 tyres with no probs at all

They clear his 330mm AP's too by a long way

18's on mine no problem. Lowered on Koni's as well. Same tyre size as CosKev3. Hurts when I have to buy tyres though
