Default charge carrier and rocker cover help

How hard are these to remove ? I have a polished charge carrier waiting to fit plus i wanna give my rocker cover a couple coats of paint. Is there anything when removing these i should know ? Should i also replace the rocker cover gasket ? Remember im new to this ford thing lol

Any help appreciated
Thanks
Sam

yes also undo the 13m bolt on on the accelerator bracket (theres 2 infact and its the one on the right if your standing on the right side of the car) so it allows easy removal of the rocker cover!

Rocker gaskets are cheaper than that - I have one here I can send to you for Ł10 incl post if you want?

Genuine Ford one too

I would personally get the rocker cover powdercoated and normal heatproof paint will eventually crack and look horrid

when replacing rocker cover gasket, make sure all the surfaces are clean and definately make sure you don't tighten it too much as oil starts to seep out

get a 1.8 cvh gasket as they are rubber and better, the cork 1's are shite

and when u take the rockercover off make sure the bolts and spacers are in a tub and not laid on it in the recess

ur bound to dump em all in the head when the seal goes as ur pullin it off
