what will fitting 17's to my s1 take do i need to cut the body kit or any thing like that? the cars on koni 25m springs and dampers

Depending on how much ICE you have there should be minimal if any trimming of the kit required. I've done nothing to my S2 with a 35mm drop and it only catches if I'm braking hard and hit a bump at the same time.

Didn't catch at all even when driving like a mad man at Bedford

CliffS1 who posts on here has a S1 with 17" Voodoo's might be worth dropping him a PM.

7.5x17" and 215/40 tyres i had to trim abit off the arches/bodykit
if you go for 7x17" and 205/40 chances are you will have to trim a slight amount

i run 17 's 205/40 tyres in my mk3 cab with -35mm pi springs rubs on full lock but other wise fine , gotta watch out for those bumps.

i trimmed all 4 arches, thats lowered 40mm and 7.5 x 17, check the signature
to look

i only trimmed a very little off mine


thats a 7j wheels with 205's

I only had to trim off mine. I've got 7.5Jx17" with 205/40 R17's

I have 7 x 17's on 205 x 40's. Car is lowered ( dunno by how much ). They only catch on full lock and when hittin a bad bump on a bend.

i didnt have to trim mine with 7,17s with a 50mm drop,only on hard lock did they scuff the inner wheelarch,now using 7.5 17s ford rs wheels and i had to take about half inch of wheelarches,thats with 60mm drop on konis.
