I'm running NTL 2meg BB. so I can download at 215kbps, but I can only upload at 24kbps.

Now when I'm uploading stuff to the site this takes aaaages.

Is there anyway I can improve this?

 

Get a faster line. It's a restriction on the line. I can download at about 175k a sec but only upload at 25k a sec. Until telewest upgrade me to the 4 meg effort

 

Its uploads that hog all the bandwidth mate, not many ISPs that offer upload speeds greater than what your experiencing, you would need some sort of business class broadband for higher uploads speeds like sdsl price are way ott though....

 

what about uncapping?

 

If you're ISp's got a cap on your line then your even more fucked
