Default Group A Fitment Rally Wheels for a Escort Cosworth

Guys

Been offered some Compomotive TH3's from the above but i'm looking to fit them to another Ford. Wheel size, ET, pcd, etc are all fine, but i don't understand what the group fitment refers to?

The bolt holes of the wheels have been cylindrical inserts instead of the normal chamfered seat on Ford wheels - does anyone know how this arrangement works?

thanks

andy

If you're not using group A wheel studs, you'll need to use what are called "group A conversion nuts" - available direct from Compomotive amongst others for about £2 each. If the car you're hoping to fit them to has wheel bolts as standard, I think you'll have to convert it to studs - as far as I'm aware, there isn't such a thing as a "conversion bolt".

There was a thread in General Discussion about these nuts within the last week with photos - the ones you need are the one-piece nuts with the small taper - not the ones with the separate flat washers.
