Default What's a Focus RS worth?

What do you think a Focus RS with one lady owner, 21k miles FSH, couple of shiny bits and tinted windows etc is worth?

A fiend of mine is selling hers but didn't get much interest at £16k, she was offered £14k by a dealer who 'wanted it for his own car' but I think that's far too low. What's the going rate for a good one?

Cheers,
Iain

if not much intrest at £16k then at £14k to sell won't be too bad.

think its cheap though, but, if no one is biting at £16k then what do you do if you want to sell.

Mate picked up a near mint, standard 03 car with 27k, for £15.5k

From Ford too, they had it up at 18k mind.

He was very fussy and looked around, really didnt think he'd get a good one under 16k.

There still some jokers asking £18k for these (local ford dealer has one at this price ) but there's some very good, low mile examples for £15.5K - £16k.

Im still waiting for the right one to come along at the right price and its Goodbye ST170 lol

No mate, very true. But what you can blame them for is buying the bloody thing and not expecting a Brand NEW car to depreciate in value!

People want to sell them for what they paid for em don't they! ROFL

lol, that goes for everyone who has bought a car.

If i was after a new car then i would want it as low milage as i can,as would anyone else. and cheap as poss.

All depends on how fast the seller wants to sell it,ok at a loss maybe but at least its gone.

Whats happening on the Cossie front now then Dave? Did you have some sort of trackday cover?

I remember looking at your thread in the pic gallery and talking to you about the car only weeks before Combe!

Glad your ok dude!

I need a proper RS.

Just waiting a bit till next year then see what happens.

Still got the important bits if a shell comes along, may think about a track car first then a road car,not too sure yet.

thanks for asking Dan.

Much as I thought then, she's not advertised it as yet, just been trying to sell it thorugh word of mouth; I guess she needs to stick it in Top Marques or something similar.

Want another 4x4 car.

Plenty of shells knocking about at the moment just too busy at work to sort anything.

Will be back no problem as i have the bits, could just get a saff shell and use that but want another escort first, maybe, just maybe a 3 door 4x4.

See how it goes.
