Default SERIES II OVERHEATING

Alright, have just had a Rad Tec front mount intercooler fitted but since having it put on the car has been getting really hot - especially when town driving. Got the fan between the intercooler and radiator working correctly, do you think adding another fan to go on the front of the intercooler will make a difference. Or does anybody have any alternative suggestions??? Cheers

I'm running a pair of 10" kenlowe fans on the rad which is behind a very large GRS intercooler and it doesn't seen to give any problems YET!!!

Try emptying the water system and replaceing it with summercoolant,
also fit a seperate fan switch in car so you can have more control over
when the fan cuts in.

You can also try using bonnet raisers to help let the heat out,not everyones
cup of tea i know but ive got a set on mine and to be honest i really dont like
the look but they seem to work. Ive also got thermatec heat wrap around my
manifold,turbo and downpipe

Hope that helps a bit

Hope this doesnt sound cheeky but,...have you got your fans blowing the right way?

My friend runs a RadTec with twin fans and has no problems at all

easy mistake to make

Changed the wires around on the fan, but when the car has warmed up it only seems to blow hot air around - no cooler?? Have a Pro Alloy radiator, bonnet raisers, flushed the radiator out and addedmore coolant. Don't suppose anybody has any other sugestions.
