Ive got mine off, but cant decide whats best, i think if they on, it needs the spotlights on too? IMO it looks more up-to-date with them off!

I don't have any on mine at the moment. I had not fitted the towing eye cover until about a month ago but since fitting it, the front end is looking a little plain and IMO needs the mass of white breaking up so the over riders are going on when I get some brackets made.

Sounds about right.

Ok......a question???

My friend asked me this and i couldnt answer.

Why is it when you buy a FRST for example most people take the stripes off the side. When you buy a ERST most people remove the stripes and debadge it etc...

WHY IS IT THAT NONE OF THESE IS DONE TO A S1?

Dont get me wrong i like the side stickers to an extent, but they do look dated now, if i didnt have original side stickers i wouldnt put them on! As i have them i dont know if i should use them or not???

Maybe i will right in the for sale add "supplied with overriders and side stickers"

But a white S2 looks fine with no stickers, spotlights or badges etc..

Do you think it is because that is what we are used to with a S1 i.e all the factory parts, spots, overriders and decals etc...

The S2 is a little more curved which IMO lends itself more to a cleaner look. I think that an S1 in another colour other than white could get away with no stickers but the standard colour doesn't seem to suit not having the stickers there.

I suppose it would be different if the cars never had stickers as standard...

I think that the S1 is just one of those cars that you have to pretty much leave alone bodywork wise
