Yes but its bound to be slow every now and then with the amount of changes Pet does....and as far as I see Dingy doesnt seem to be trying to help, he just seems to be critising or however the fook else you spell it pmsl
Its all well and good giving feedback on how the site is running, Im sure Pet and Stu appreciate it, but there is giving feedback, and there is complaining...they are 2 totally different ways of doing something.....as far as I see evry post like this seems to be a complaint hence my comment......

And that has what to do with a slow website hosted on a server i have no access to ?
but then IIRC you're a consultant aint ya, and lets be honest you'd expect that from 99% of IT consultants... overpaid useless twats that they are
if youve got 2meg or 10meg or 100meg it wont make naff all difference to the passionford slowdown. infact it shouldnt make much difference to anything considering 90% of website throttle single connections
(which is why it makes me laught when joe bloggs at home THINKS he needs 8mb broadband)oh and the website isnt slow is it, the RESPONSE is slow, its shit i know (pisses me off just as much as anyone else) but you might aswell get your facts straight
facts right...
jim i am not a twat and will like to see you say that to my face...
I was not at work and not working - web site is slow, i have no idea why its slow cause i have never looked into this....
I aint at work 24x7, so it was purely a comment.
I won't post again about this as i never paid for the site, i just think at night its slow, would probably mean more users taking up the bandwidth on the box - this again is down to bandwidth management - to which i have no idea how its set, now as you work in IT, i am sure you can informing of the load balancers and bandwidth management options pet has installed cause you work in IT you should have some understanding of how thats all set up.

ive never met an IT consultant who actually knows f**k all about IT, and i work with them all the time
they wind me up SOOOO much, getting paid 50+k for doing feck all and talking bollocks to clients
no it wouldnt., there are FAR more complicated things in a server (any server) than the speed of it's internet connection. Infact its blindingly obvious that bandwith it NOT an issue with PF
