any 1 know what the green sensor below ya brake vacum pipe is called plz ??

checked the haynes and it dosent say

 

it's a knock sensor.

Not a great deal on an RST

The standard knock sensor is a bit pony...

 

Remove it and wrap it in cliingfilm/bubblewrap or similar.

 

but blank the hole rab would of left n the inlet

 

so what will that do then?

 

The blanking of the hole was included in the remove it part of my sentence.

 

Thats what i was thinking.

 

There is no hole in the inlet, just have a look, only and indentation

If you've got a bad engine mount, it still think the car is pinking - pathetic idea, still got mine in though

Not sure weather to remove it or not lol
