Sorry Mark, I sent over the files that the prog said it needed, apologies if I missed one - to Ryan.

What do you mean the program was corrupt? I only sent you a link to it. (not having a go - just interested as obviously I haven't used the program myself, as I haven't had this problem - don't want to give people links to crap programs )

But you've got access to the NTFS disk now? got there in the end....

Now get your data backed up and get rid of WinME

bill without your help m8 i would have been well and truly fooked thanks very much, it seamed (very late last nite) that if you download the program without them files in place and ready to go it will basically fook the system even more as it keeps lookin for a drive to use with ntfs, then when you run it it gives you the option to search for the file name and in which directory (listen to me - sound like a right comp techy ) but it wont actually let you select it and ok in the dialog box it provides so you have to input the adress manually i.e c:windows\mydocuments\winnt etc etc rather than just clicking it

sussed it eventually and have backed up the files

cheers guys i owe ya a beer !
