I have a peugeot 205 gti with a turbo conversion and its running a bit hot, I think this is due to the standard radiator being too small

I've got a 1.6 orion radiator on at the moment which is the same size as the 205 gti radiator

I thought that with the rs turbo being a turbo, the radiator will be able to handle turbo tempratures!

Only problem is I dont know the size of an rs turbo rad!

Could anybody maybe measure their radiator and tell me what size it is so I dont end up buying something that doesnt fit! (also if you could measure it including the intercooler that would be a great help!)

The S2 RST radiator is smaller than the Orion 1.6i radiator. I can't see the point of the swap.

 

is it not thicker tho?

I presumed with it having to cope with turbo temps it would be bigger!!

Rob the S2 radiator is 560 x 330 x 40 I believe that the S1 rad is 150mm longer but slightly less that the 330height of the S2 one.

Bear in mind that the original incercooler sits alongside the radiator on turbo charged models, hence the reduced size.

 

Cheers for that, looks like I'll stick with what I've got, its a bit of a tight squeeze with the 4x4 cossie intercooler tho!
