Default Escort Cosworth Large Turbo Mallard Green

Here are a few pictures of the car I bought a couple of months ago

Here is a few pictures of it when I got it home and gave it a good clean

And here is a few pictures in its current condition, just awaiting the alarm to be installed and the engine and gearbox to be removed ready for a full repaint

I took the head off yesterday, all seems to be ok, no sign of any wear on the camshafts, pistons, bores etc. Will be taking the gearbox out this afternoon when I finish work then just need to take the block out before it can go to the paint shop.
I've got it booked in for next week hopefully.

Default respray

The car has just been fully painted (I will post some pics later in the week) The paint shop has also agreed to look after it for me until next March. They are being very good to me, its been quite difficult because i've done all this in a single garage. So the fact they are holding on to the shell means I can do the full rebuild on the engine and transmission. If anyone needs a high quality respray done then I will pass on their details, they are in bedfordshire.
