Default How to clean a foam filter??

Got a foam ram air filter i reckon it could do with a clean what the best way to clean it and what with??

first give it a quick handwash throw on all the detergents you can then chuck it in the washing machine will come out like new

The misses would loved that useing the washing machine saying that i never ever used it but i will have a go

With a foam filter, you REALLY want to be checking if it needs oiling after cleaning, as this is usually the MAIN source of dust particle filtration......

With the K&N cleaner fluid & re-oil kit. Again, you can probably clean it a multitude of ways (other than K&N's own kit), although K&N do actually recommend not cleaning too often, unless used in extremely dusty conditions. Very important to also re-oil the K&N filters.
