Neither. It's a personal preference thing.

Technically neither is better than the other. The S1 would make a better track car due to it's suspension set up but for every day use, the S2 would be a better car.

Having worked a lot with RSTs over the years I've grown to prefer the mk3's. Seem to have a slightly better build quality e.g.: parts are attached with screws and not just click in. A little less "plastic" in my opinion. Bad thing is, how rare the electric mirrors are for the S1. I absolutely hate the manual ones in the S1, luckily my mk1 Orion had them as standard.

Leccy mirrors were on the Mk1 1.6i Ghia Onion. Rare as rocking horse poo though. Only ever seen one set ever.

My old Orion 1.6i ghia had electric door mirrors! I did think about taking them off to fit them to my S1 but never bothered.
