There was a giant rodent who spotted an innocent looking 1.8LXi Sierra
All say ah
Innocent Sierra

Unfortunately it was powered by this

This did not deter the giant rodent who parted with his hard earned £87 and ran off with the innocent beast
But it wasn't long before the call of the wild overcome the rodent, who decided that this would be a better ornament under the bonnet
New ornament

Thus the poor little Sierra had its guts ripped out
All say ah
Guts removed

Not satisfied with ripping it guts out the rodent set upon giving it a face lift
A bit of nip and tuck

4 Weeks to completion and counting

Fitting 17" Kahn RSR to fit over the brakes, but the 1.8i badge is staying put, a tow hitch is being added and some caravan owners club stickers for the added effect

Not happy with his feeble efforts over the weekend the rodent decided to rip the dashboard out in preperation for replacing the innocent LX's wiring loom
More destruction

But all this destruction was taking it toll on the rodents conscience who was beginning to feel a little guilty for being so rough on the poor little LX
So he contacted Uncle Ryan from the home of Passionforders and asked him to make a little present for the LX, this custom coilpack driven loom was loving made and duly delivered on time to make the LX feel a little better
Pressy for LX

The rodent has had some strippers around again
Stripped

Bit dark

But the rodent has managed to get drivers side electric ears hidden into the LX mirror and all working

Wiring for electric sunroof, rear map lights, rear electric windows wiring is nearly complete. Then its abs loom and put it all back together

Got it started last night, well happy about that
now I can get on with changing cam belt and tappets
Desperately need to get the brakes sorted now as I am having major trouble finding a suitable abs loom
If I cant find a loom I may have to consider a different master cylinder setup without abs, so it looks doubtful it'll be completed this weekend and I'll miss the show on the 18th
On the up side the rear seat re-trimming is coming along nicely and should be finished tonight, but until I decide what to with the brakes I cant put the dash back in
So close yet so far from completion

Cheers for asking, its 99.99999% done now
Took it for its first drive today after fixing the cam problem I found when doing the service, got to take some new pics, but it was so much fun and chatter chatter chatter all the way
Only problem I had today was alternator is not charging so hopefully I sort that out in the morning, get the tracking done and hopefully SEC's will be over to sort out the rev counter
The local Chav's had better watch out now
