Seen as though your not accepting my pm, and you havent gave me my refund of £229 back im doing this hoping it might spur you on.

The story: i bought a pace cooler off dave on the 13 march this year and sent him a bankers draft for £210 on the next day recorded special delivery. he got it the next day. so i waited for it to be delivered.

i waited till the end of april and it still didnt come.

contacted him about it and he tracked the item down to the courier, they had misplaced it in their depot.

he said he had found it and was sending it the next day through royal mail.

2 weeks passed so i told him i couldnt wait any longer and i bought a new intercooler, he said this was fine and to just send it back when it arrives.

it eventually arrived on the 17th may so i sent it back first class special recorde delivery, with details where to send the refund.

it was signed for on the 18th may.

i waited a further 5 weeks for my refund and nothing so i contacted him.

his reply was "but i sent the cooler 5/6 weeks ago" to which i replied
" yes and i sent it back the next day when it was signed for"

he said he would investigate. another week passed.
he said he found it in the mail room at work.
this was the address he gave me

so he said he would sort my refund out.

THAT WAS 5 WEEKS AGO i still havent got my money and he wont accept my pm's.

to be honest i think he is taking the piss, im not happy at all i feel like i have been a vivtim of a crime. so why dont you just do the decent thing and sort my money out.

 

Know how you feel but I'm sure if you were to ring him he will make sure to sort you out!

You're right it shouldn't come to this at all, but from what I've heard about dave he is a good bloke, so put up a post asking for his mobile number is my advice

 

if he asnt got the decency to answer pm's etc what chance have i got of him answering his phone. to be honest i wouldnt know what to say to him, im so fucking angry it is un beleivable. waited so long to buy my escos and chat to people in the same boat only to be mucked about. wish i hadny bothered now if this is the way people are treated.

Dave's been out the country a couple of times and away a little bit I think.

You wont get a reply till Monday, but I can assure you, Dave's not the rip-off type AT ALL.

 

Dave seems to have more money than sense and im sure its been an unfortunate oversight

He'll sort ya out when he sees this im sure so dont worry

 

I know it can be frustrating sean, but i cant honestly see Dave of all people ripping you off, seems a sound bloke to me!!

 

im not saying hes ripping me off, its just nice to be kept informed and courteous to get replies back to pm,s etc. by the way he wont read the pm and i know hes been on line cos he has put posts up, so how do you explain that? theres no excuse he promised me a bank transfer and even i know that only takes a couple of minutes to do on the pc. so while he has been typing posts and replies he could have done my transfer, im sorry but there is no excuse , instead of you lot telling me he is busy, travelling etc why doesnt he contact me, im sure he will be grateful for you fighting his battles though

 

Nobody has said Dave is trying to rip him off which i am sure he isn't BUT Dave come on man get it dealt with as the time scales involved here are a piss take!
