A company near by, looks drastic I know but will be really good when finished and the car will be mega strong and safe. Safety is very important IMO young family and all that. Just look at Martins cage saved his life. I just want to have fun next year but with an element of safety. My balls are not as big as Rods or Marks.

~Totally agree neil but I do cages everyday along with lots of other stuff involved with race cars but I never need to go cutting the roof out, and my cages will still be as tighter fit and fully welded. when you do a cage on a 130k bently the customer dont expect you to cut it up first. Anyway good luck and its good to see someone spending money in other area's other than the engine.

Thanks for your feedback Danny. The company in question have done what I asked. I wanted the sunroof removing and in doing that it made the cage I wanted easier to fit. I went and had a look at the car last week and was very impressed with how the car was being treated, and also how they were getting on. Top job.

I had the same thing Neil. When I has my cage fitted, they chopped the roof off and fitted a new one to get rid of Sunroof at the same time.

I'll get it sorted mate, At the moment my lightning is in priority and on the edge of running a 12second 1/4 so would be rude not to push it into mid 12's.
