So what's the most power you've seen with standard CVH pistons and rods? What mod's were done to get that power? I need to know the limit's of these motor's. Thank's.

The limit of a standard bottom end will be the con rods. I had a standard bottom end, with a Low Comp BVH and snapped a con rod at 250bhp. Other people have made more power I am sure, but that is an example from expirence.

Christian and Beccy made around 270bhp on standard rods, but he soon rebuilt his engine with steel rods after mine shat itself. He used low compression Mahle pistons though to make over 300bhp @ 2 bar boost.

Rods are deffinatly the weak link in a CVH bottom end.

Thank you for the info.
So far I've been at 212whp and 262 tq for a while, and wanted to know how much farther I can take it.
