K18NEO - i was exactly the same , it's took ages to do it but i thought sod it and spent the dosh! all £750 of it !!
AGAR - i have coilovers fitted and big brakes but apart from a 5mm spacer on the front , i haven't had any trouble.but saying that the arches have been cut right back.
