Default Turbo /Injected MK4 Escort van swirl pot options..???

Thinking of buying an escort van as a sort of project as i've always wanted to turbo one, anyone on here done it? i want to know what you've done about the fuel swirl pot, i know someone who did one one before and cut the swirl pot out of an injection tank and fitted it into the van tank but he still had problems when the fuel was below half a tank!! any pics, info or whatever would be much appreciated!

Cheers, Gary

Gadget,

You will need external swirl pot, purge pump, extrernal pump.

The same way my van was done is the best setup, as i tried almost every other option. Thanks to Mark and Ahmed at Grove for the hints on making the flow work right

Dont worry about cutting tanks open etc.. Long....Cos you will need to mod the tank's and make sure they dont leak etc...

I sold my van ages ago but will ask for pics of the fuel setup
Regards

An erst tank will fit but you will need to cut a hole in the floor for the filler neck to come through. And obviously you will have no petrol cap. Not a very nice way of doing it IMO.
