Default What are you doing to prep your car for the Ring??

Just been having this conversation with Gracie about what you are going to to do get the car ready...

Well I'm giving it a full service, then taking it to Rob @ SCC to make sure all the fueling and thats correct. Then I'll be changing the brake pads (even if I dont have to!!) Taking out the rear seats and trim... and then I gotta work out where I'm gonna put the sub and amp

Got a set of recaros going in too soon and I'll be putting in some harnesses

Whats everyone else doing?

Modern large injectors im messing with to get closed loop control working on them. A far better and far bigger alternative to greys indeed

If you supply your own mower, then done. However, having seen the way you drive, if you think I'm letting you on the ride-on, you're having a laugh .

Fresh brake fluid is always a good idea!

Remember the story of the exploding brake disc? Check for cracks and replace if necessary.

Doesnt allow boost spikes, ie it peaks and holds there rather than being able to peak at big boost for huge midrange power and then lower at the top end to stop the coont blowing up.

Its a bloody good thing, but seems to be mainly restricted to Cossies, most tuned cars just peak n hold, missing them out on some serious midrange

I'm thinking about buying an RX-7 to take

Wanted one for ages and the Pug is getting held up on the rollcage, and I will have no time for shakedown before I go, its a long way to push it home when it breaks down!
