Need to find a for sale post in the Cars for Sale section, but it only goes back 5 pages - does that mean my post is lost forever?

 

im sure if u was nice to pet he could manually find the page thru sql

and then pm u the link

you probbaly have it set o only display last 30 days or something...

cahnge it from that to "the beginning" its either in your profile, options, or on the page itself, cant rememebr

 

I believe Pet said when he gave us the Search button back, that it could only work for the past 5 weeks.... for now. I am sure he is working on giving us the whole database to work on....

So I guess that if your post is older than 5 weeks, you will have to do a user / manual search.

 

It wont find it even on a manual search.....................

 

if you look manually you should be able to go back to day 1

look at the bottom of the page... theres a bit that says "display all poss from previous: [30 days] [Oldest First] [GO]"

change that to "All posts"

 

Was it you who started the post? and wot was the heading?

pon youre right it is only 5 pages... but those 5 pages go back to november 2003 (about the same time the room was created )! and it wasnt THAT long ago you put the car up for sale (i rememebr seein the post)

is it possible the post is in a different section (either you posted it there or it got moved by accident) or maybe it got sold and a mopd deleted it?

it goes back 5 pages to may the something,then the last 4 posts it jumps back to 2003

 

itr was prob lost that time the board crashed... Ive noticed this when I have searched back a few times also...

 

there were a few posts lost when things when tits up last time certain rooms lost more than others...
sorry rich looks like its gone....

 

cant have other people finding that now can we?
