Which turbo do you have?
T34 with a 48 housing = NO CHANCE
T34 with a 63 housing = Might scrape it at best part of a couple of bar!

Spadge, its just a T3/4 ie its got a T4 spec (tho small) compressor and a T3 style rear end, regardless of A/R.

Infact RS500 T4s are T3/4s too.

But its not an Escort Cossie spec T3/4 without a .63...

At about 37-38 lbs of airflow you are at the end of the compressor map really for even the T34.63

The CR that you have (standard i assume) is going to struggle to allow you to consume that much air at moderate RPM without getting Det or retarding the timing a lot or running very rich (all of which will lose you power)

Standard cams dont like to rev a lot, so consuming the air with less boost by reving harder isnt an easy option, and anyway for that sort of flow on a T34.63 you actually need big boost to stay on (well off but not by much, lol) the compressor map.

So i agree with dingy, its not a walk in the park.

380 is though on a .63, so it depends on what you mean by 400, do you mean specifically 400 to tell your mates in the pub, or just in the region of 400 to make a nice quick cossie

Agreed, what else would you call a T34.48 other than a T34?

A lot of people I know in fact call the T34.48 a "T34" and the T34.63 a "T35"

Dan, nitrous wont effect the injectors as it will be a wet kit that you use (if you dont i will personally come round and insert the bottle in you) so it will take care of its own fuelling.

Greens (803) will manage 350bhp but only at slightly higher pressre than the cossie lads run, but thats not an issue to you if you use a decent (044?) pump.

Personally i would use some siemens injectors though, 100 quid a set stateside for some 500-550cc ones which means they will fuel 400bhp+

They open and quick so fast you can still have a lamda sensor and silky smooth idle too

Comp Ratio is 7.8.1

Im not into Bu-lshit pub figures, my car aint that slow allready with a 115.59mph terminal at the pod, this is on 803s with 22lbs boost.

Turbo has a .48 housing, will i have to fit something like a T38 ??

Cheers Steve

T34.48 you will NOT get 400bhp mate.

About 340 realistically on that CR i suspect.

T38 would be good for well over 400, or better still look at GT series turbos like the GT30???

Dan will dig some out mate.

If you only want around 350bhp though, maybe you and this fella should swap exhaust housings???

Less lag for you, and more power for him!

A1 Chip but has been modified by Engine Advantages since changing from a 4x4 exhaust manifold too a 2wd manifold.

Gained 14bhp

339lbft, not telling supposed bhp as everyone slags off the figure

But it does the works as you can see from the terminal

A T34 is a 360BHP Turbo, you can push them a little further say to 370BHP, but on the road that realistically is your limit
