2wd brake callipers

2wd brake callipers
how the hell do i push the pistons back when changing disks and pads on the front callipers ?
ive taken the cap off the resevoir and i have been trying with some fat mole grips and they hardly moving
anyone help me out ?
also how do i get my turbo damper off my turbo

they need 2 be screwed back in with the correct tool m8

btw im talking about front callipers
not rears
i know the rears have to be screwed in do the fronts ????

no m8 but they r probably seized then by the sounds the other thing u can try is just open the bleed screw and release them that way but the brake caliper will need re bleading m8

i tried opening bleed nipple still no movement
i will buy the piston spreader from burton power as that looks like a propper tool for the job
then will have it for future use if still dont work will need to sort my callipers out

these were workign fine 2 months ago

my callipers have 2 bleed nipples
looking on burton power website the picture on there shows the 2wd callipes with one bleed nipple
i only tried opening 1 nipple lol

calipers must be seized - is there any splits/perishing on the dust covers around the pistons?
they should push in easily especially with the bleed nipples undone

sadly, they are right, if you can push them back, they are seized
i have 1 piston like that on one of mine.
Ian @ godspeed soon sorted that out

just had another look one of the ruber seals arround the piston has come away from the calliper

I am there every saturday 8am till 6pm unless I'm away rallying , I will be there until about 2-30 this saturday as I'm off to the midlands to have my laser jammer , sorry garage door opener set up

Just the seals can be done the same day , if you want them blasted off and sprayed that is a 2 day job as the paint has to dry before they can be rebuilt , I will call you later to see if I can do them in the morning , I am working on 2 kits which the customers are oicking them up mid day tomorrow , so as long as they are finished I can do yours , if not I will have to do them monday , unless you do want them sprayed as you could drop them up sat , and I can post them back to you monday ?
